It is uncommon for clients to cancel a booking, but mostly if it happens it due to the clients’ personal reasons.
How to make a cancellation officially?
For a booking to be officially cancelled, the customer must send an email to our cancellation email address tours@bucomuteba.net with their personal details and the booking/reservation number. After sending, you must wait a maximum period of 48 hours with a confirmation of the cancellation.

Reservation refund
The refund amount will be deposited within a maximum period of 5 working days after confirmation of the cancellation by Bukomuteba Tours and Travels, being proportional to the established cancellation policy. The refund will be made to the exact source of the payment made by the customer.
Important note: At the time of the refund, the costs of receiving the money (3%) and sending it will be deducted.
Reservation changes
Any changes must be requested at least 7 days in advance and are subject to confirmation according to our availability, plus possible additions to the booking and additional fees. We will make every effort to change what you want, but we cannot guarantee that this will be possible, especially during the high season.
Form of payments
All bookings require a payment for the reservation to be confirmed. This payment has two modalities: a minimum of 50% of the amount or the total payment of the amount. Payment can be made online by credit card through our operator, but also by bank transfer (only for reservations made 25 days in advance) and also by Paypal. We do accept cash payment only for the 50% balance payable on completion of the tour.
Pay 100%
You can choose to pay 100% of the total amount to guarantee your tour reservation. Pay for your reservation through the secure online system with a credit card, by bank transfer directly to our company account or by Paypal. If the tour starts less than 25 days from the day of your reservation, you must select the option to pay the full amount.
Pay 50%
Pay 50% of the deposit amount at the time of booking through the secure online system with a credit card provided, by bank transfer directly to our company account or by Paypal. When you opt for partial payment, you must pay the remaining amount within 25 days before the date of the selected tour. You will receive email notification of the pending amount.
